Scott Perras

Born in Regina, Saskatchewan I grew up with a love of sports and everything outdoors.  Winter or Summer I just wanted to be outside enjoying the freedom the Saskatchewan landscape allowed. 

I started to train full-time for Biathlon at the age of 19, although a late start my competitive nature and experience in other sports allowed me grow quickly as a Biathlete. 

I moved to Canmore in 2005 to train at the Canmore Nordic Centre which is home to the Canadian Biathlon and Cross Country Ski teams. Since then I have been chasing my dream of representing my country at the highest level, the Olympic Winter Games. 

There are 40 more days to go until the Opening Ceremonies in Sochi.  Until then I will do as always - Eat, Sleep and Train for my first love, Biathlon.
